This week marks the start of the new regulatory function to the HCA. As the new Regulator for Social Housing Providers, our focus will be on economic regulation, while consumer regulation will be overseen by the Housing Ombudsman.

We are looking to appoint housing developers and development consortia for our Delivery Partner Panel 2 (DPP2). This will replace the current DPP, used by the HCA and over 100 partners to procure approximately 24,000 homes across 111 sites.

Proposals to bring new businesses, homes and up to 4,000 jobs to the area have received a major boost after plans to regenerate the HCA owned Daedelus former airfield site were given the green light. The site is part of our Economic Assets Programme.

Our London functions have now devolved to the Greater London Authority, while our London staff have transferred into the GLA's new Housing and Land Directorate.
