The outcome of the reinvigorated Right to Buy consultation is now online

Reinvigorated Right to Buy: unlocking aspiration
Following a consultation the Government has pledged to raise the Right to Buy discount cap to £75,000. Under the scheme, every property sold will be replaced with a new affordable home, with the sales receipts contributing towards the costs.

NewBuy details announced
Government also confirmed details of the NewBuy mortgage indemnity scheme, designed to give aspiring buyers access to mortgages with deposits as low as 5%. The scheme will benefit 100,000 people and support 50,000 construction jobs.
